How to Take Screenshots on Various Devices
You see a funny status on FB and want to share it with a friend on WhatsApp. Instead of copy-pasting the status, you can simply take the screenshot and send the picture to the friend. Here is how you can do that.
If you are using a tablet or smartphone then taking the screenshot is pretty easy. Whether you have iOS, Android or Windows phone, the method for taking the screenshot is the same for all. All you need to do is hold the power button for a couple of seconds and along with it press the home button. No matter what application you are using, the screenshot will get saved. You can easily share the screenshot with whomever you want or save it in the memory. However, if you are using an older version of Android (older than 4.0) then it could get a little tricky. Try these options.
Press and hold the power button for a little while. A screen will pop up with multiple options and one of them will be to take the screenshot. If this does not take the screenshot, then press and hold the power button and then press the volume button.
If you are a Blackberry 10 user, you can take the screenshot by pressing and holding down both the Volume buttons simultaneously.
For Windows user, you simply need to press the ‘Print Screen’ or ‘Print Scr’ button on the keyboard. This will take the screenshot of the entire screen. If you only want the screenshot of the active window, hold down Alt button and then hit the Print Screen button. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard.
